The role requires extensive communication and negotiation with advertisers to conduce compliance, however, where neccesary, taking the decision to apply measured and proportional sanctions. Sanctions work often involves inter-organisation collaboration with tech platforms (e.g. Google, Facebook) and governmental statutory bodies and other industry regulators, such as Trading Standards and the MHRA.
