      I am privileged to head this newest university in Haryana, Geeta University as its Founder Vice Chancellor. Geeta University comes from the Lineage of Geeta Group of Institutions, an educational hub with a strong legacy since 1985. The University has nine faculties namely - Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Faculty of Commerce and Management; Faculty of Agriculture; Faculty of Law; Faculty of Health & Allied Sciences; Faculty of Sciences; Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Management; and Faculty of Education. Geeta University is Future-Driven and has a unique offering of EXEDGE which is a commitment to transform our students into Complete Corporate Citizens. I want my university to be the fountainhead for implementation of provisions of National Education Policy 2020 in the state of Haryana; and be known as a temple for employability-oriented education and learning entrepreneurship skills within the framework of Indian ethos and value-system. I have implemented the concept of Design Your Own Degree using the Choice Based Credit System approach. We have also implemented Outcome Based Education and put in efforts for achieving excellence in quality education and student support system using industry best IT enabled systems. My long-term goal is to position Geeta University as the university of choice for all aspiring students across North India. To accomplish this goal, I have a concrete plan of actions; and availability of willing and enthusiastic faculty members. Setting up processes to ensure development of students in all four domains of knowledge; skills; behaviour; and attitude will be my focus area.       I was delighted to head ITM University Raipur, Chhattisgarh as its Vice Chancellor. This young nine years old multi-discipline private state university is a part of ITM Group of Institutions. University is set up in a very serene environment at Naya Raipur. It has a remarkable achievement of being ranked as "First" amongst the cleanest Higher Education Institutions in the country in Swachh Campus Ranking by Ministry of HRD in 2018. The University has seven faculties namely - Faculty of Architecture; Faculty of Engineering; Faculty of Commerce, Management & Research; Faculty of Law; Faculty of Life & Allied Sciences; Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Management; and Faculty of Vocational & Interdisciplinary Studies. University has an Olympics-level Badminton Academy with eight courts which is built with the CSR support of Tata Trust. Here, I implemented Outcome Based Education and made it the first university in Chhattisgarh to follow the recommendations of National Education Policy 2020. University received two first ranks in the form of First Rank in Uni Ranking and first Rank in OBE Rankings -2021 in Chhattisgarh State. The OBE Rankings recognised our efforts for achieving excellence in quality education, and implementation of latest teaching-learning methodologies and ranked us 25th across all Indian Universities. Streamlining all Admissions; Academics; Evaluation; and Placement processes was immediate focus area and I used IT-enabled systems and practices in university to provide best experience to students and faculty members. We received three awards from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Delhi in one year in the form of Highest 4 Star Rating to our Incubation IIC efforts; First Rank in Chhattisgarh in ARIIA in Promising Band; and One District One Green Champion Award.       I joined the ITS – The Education Group second time in my career as its first Executive Director. I was entrusted with the responsibility of taking the group with twenty-five years old legacy to the next level and making it a multi-disciplinary state private university. Following are the major actions and achievements during my tenure: • Received the Letter of Intent (LOI) to establish a new state private university from the Chief Minister Shri. Yogi Aditya Nath ji of Uttar Pradesh on 17th March 2020 • ITS Engineering College in Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovations Achievement (ARIIA) 2020 conducted by Ministry of Education was categorized as a "Band A" institution & ranked among Top 25 institutions across India. • Under my presidentship the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) received five-star rating by Ministry of Education • Set up a new Incubation Centre “New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre” with grant of more than three crores from National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development (NSTEDB) • Strengthened the IQAC and governance structure at the dental college as well as engineering college for the second cycle of NAAC accreditation and second cycle of NBA accreditation. • Started weekly faculty colloquium where faculty of different departments share their expert areas with each other. • Started the system of Annual Development Plan (ADP) for each department which was then monitored through Monthly Review Meetings (MRM) • For achieving employability of each interested student, a system of Individual Career Plan (ICP) was put in place • Set up a Section 8 company “Navrachna Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development” & set up a Co-working Space as well as Factory area for facilitating new Start-ups in the campus along with signing MOUs with angel investor groups. • Start-up Weekend and Weekend Hackathons to encourage students to come up with innovative business ideas & their engagement with start-up communities Show less

      I was immensely privileged to be a part of marvelous growth story of ITS for more than thirteen years. I joined ITS Group at Mohan Nagar in October 1998 when the first campus has just started the academic operations with only two programs.
