Thomas Berszieck
Johannes and I were working together during the founding of Tracie as part of our Bridgemaker tenure. It was an absolute joyride that ended with a beautiful product with great UX. Through Johannes I first learned, what User Experience actually means. He goes so much deeper and works so much more thoroughly than anything I had experienced before. He was hosting phenomenally well moderated and executed workshops on brand, personas and user problems. Outside of his great attention to detail, Johannes is an absolute joy to work with, with a great sense of humor. Given the chance, I would love to work with him again and can fully recommend him to anyone that wants to get their UX to the next but one (!!) level.
Jeremy Langworthy
As Head of Design, Johannes has contributed significantly to the success of several projects at Daslab. Johannes consistently pushes himself and those around him to deliver designs that are precise and meet his high standards. He is always looking for ways to improve the user experience, and he is constantly iterating and refining his work until it meets his exacting standards. Johannes understands that any design project succeeds or fails on its ability to meet the needs of its intended audience. He has lead our user research efforts, from discovery to usability, organising and running in-person and remote interviews with medical specialist and patients. He has always taken extra effort to distill research learnings in to actionable insights and incorporates that new knowledge into his designs. Johannes' is equally comfortable working on projects that require creative thinking and those that demand a more analytical approach. He has a keen eye for aesthetics but he also has a deep understanding of the technical aspects of design. Finally, Johannes is known for his structured way of working. He is highly organised and systematic in his approach, which enables him to complete projects efficiently and effectively. He works well with others to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that deadlines are met.
