As Chairman of the Youth Leadership Greenville program I asked Blaine to join a large team of planning committee members this year which was a new opportunity for him to showcase his ability to lead others. Not only was he selected by his committee peers to chair the planning duties for the History & Changing Greenville class session he did it willingly and without prior experiences to bank on. Blaine jumped in with a cool head, facilitated 'group think" sessions, and with great care took ownership of the full day's activities for the 57 11th graders in the program. Though challenges came from every direction Blaine was level headed and quick on his feet leaving no stone unturned with the mindset of making that one day unforgettable! Blaine is mature beyond his years and demonstrates a very professional demeanor throughout his interactions. Could not have done this without his help! I signed up to be a tutor for a variety of subjects, and ended up working with a special needs student for the duration of the spring semester, 2013. The course I was tutoring was Basic Economics, and my student had to pass the class with a certain grade level in order to have the credits to graduate for his major. We worked very well together, meeting every week, and when needed twice per week. My student was able to pass the class with the required GPA at the end of the spring semester.

I worked on the floor preparing rolls of Ramboard floor protection material from the time they were printed to their final assembly for distribution. Developed in 1999, Ram Board was originally designed to protect floors from the heavy demands of the movie industry. It was used on the sets of feature films such as Armageddon, The Hulk, Spider Man, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
