In my role as Membership Coordinator & Club Administrator, I manage multiple club programs and special projects that include scheduling programs and addressing members' questions and concerns as well as assigning tasks to coaches and athletes. In this role, I provide orientation and technical assessments for new members of the organization ensuring effective and efficient operations.Some key achievements in this role include:• Oversee talent acquisition efforts - interview, hire, train, and onboard new coaches, verify all appropriate background checks, and track all certifications and safety trainings.• Enhance club brand awareness by implementing new technology and improving social media presence.• Key contributor to the creation of a sliding scale scholarship program for youth rowers resulting in over 10 partial and full scholarship awards as well as increased club membership.• Spearheaded the project that created a virtual log system and transitioned from a paper system to track rowers launching and returning from individualized on-water sessions. The successful project has made it safer for coaches and team members.• Played an integral part in the diversity, equality, and inclusion training helping to introduce the sport of Rowing to so many others.

As a Rowing Coach, I instructed students on the basics and advanced skills of proper rowing techniques while impressing the importance of form, execution, and fundamental drills. Engaged with peers and student-athletes by way of effective communications.Some key achievements in this role included:• Ensured all team members attained, adhered to, and upheld the highest standards of performance and safety to create a strong team culture.• Developed and organized daily drills and extensive exercises for both on-land and water practices.• Planned and executed fundraiser events that drove up donations and help cover the costs of competition race fees and team uniforms.• Developed and implemented a rowing training program for the novice that introduced members to the sport of rowing.

During my time as Program Coordinator, I recruited and retained over 20 athletes for a new fully virtual program. I taught complex rowing techniques and transitioned athletes smoothly into in-person, on-water practices. I was able to develop and cultivate strong sustainable relationships with local schools to strengthen recruitment efforts.Some key achievements in this role included:• Owned all logistics and safety-related measures for daily practices for ~40 student-athletes.• Launched a one-of-a-kind virtual tour series of boathouses that visited Brazil, the Bahamas, and Germany. Created the connections via social media and by leveraging social networking partners.• Built strong partnerships with departments through strategic planning and project collaboration for student programs.• Collaborated with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and peers to develop and implement a training program centered around diversity, equality, and inclusion.

During my time as a Teacher’s Assistant, I collaborated with supervising teachers to adapt classroom activities to students' needs while adhering to modifications set by IEPs. I provided support for students with a wide variety of mental health issues ranging from school avoidance, depression/anxiety, schizophrenia & bipolar disorder.Some key achievements in this role included:• Created the school's first virtual interactive bulletin board for school materials and to showcase student classwork.• Organized and maintained classroom materials and documented records of homework and attendance electronically for all classes.• Organized and supervised student activities and logistics for field trips, dances, and socials for ~50 students.
