I was matched with Astrid Claessen by the SpeakEasy mentoring program. Beginning of 2019, I promised myself to do more public speaking in English, yet I wasn't ready yet to do this on my own. Astrid helped me crafting my talk towards my audience and acted as my personal coach. She empowered in so many ways; this review is going to be too long for that, so I will keep it short! I finally met Astrid at the Women in Agile event (November '19), where I was sharing my Pump Up The Jam @ Work Workshop. I'm proud that I got to show my appreciation for her being my mentor. Astrid heb ik leren kennen tijdens de productie van de 48 Hour Film (short film) 'Na het zingen de kerk uit'. Zij kenmerkt zich door recht door zee te zijn en daarin altijd oprecht te handelen. Ik kon erg goed met haar samenwerken, omdat zij me op de goede momenten even uit de stress wist te trekken. Daardoor kwam ik weer even met twee benen op de grond. Ze weet een team goed bij elkaar te houden - ook onder high stress situaties. Een ware teamplayer dus en absoluut een fijne persoonlijkheid om mee samen te werken!

      Joost Mulders (my partner) started creating documentaries about endurance sports. Our first documentary was "When Heroes Become Legends", about five Ultra Runners attempting to complete the Legends Slam series. Four Ultra Trail races with a total of 730km in the Belgium area.
