Andrea reported to me for many years in various marketing roles while our company grew from start-up, to scale-up and through acquisition. I recruited Andrea initially from an account manager role because of her understanding of the market, our clients and product positioning. I used to listen to her pitch clients and realized she was in a class of her own. She agreed to move to marketing and her sales experience gave her an edge as a marketing practitioner. Andrea developed the organizational structure, recruited talent and motivated the demand gen team to surpass objectives quarter after quarter. Most marketers have a core set of skills but Andrea is one of those unique individuals that has mastery in multiple areas including content development, thought leadership, marketing automation and reporting and analysis. She uses all these areas to build successful programs while monitoring and improving elements along the way. She leveraged all these to help her team succeed as well as foster a strong alignment with sales - which is necessary in any size company. I know Andrea will be a key contributor to organizations whether in early stages of development where strategy and hands on execution are key or more mature companies where pipeline generation is closely aligned with sales and scale and predictability are paramount. It was a career highlight and an honor to work with such a committed, resourceful, positive-attitude and driven person.
