Central location of datacenter saved company more than $140,000 monthly in lease fees, and provided tax exempt status with the DC government that created an additional annual savings of $2 million. Designed and developed Virtual Environment using VMWare's ESX servers that enabled elimination of 140 legacy servers with growth to 252 VM servers currently. Captured more than $2 million in cost savings since inception of servers, and to date VMWare contributes to more than 25% of the company's total server count and continues to increase quarterly with ongoing per-server savings of $10,000 quarterly.
