• Worked with Project Management Consultants of Asian Development Bank in preparing & devising Environmental Monitoring Plans(EMP) for various sites in liaison with the Srinagar Municipality corporation SMC, Roads and Building (R&B ), and other key stakeholders. • Worked with Environmental experts in the preparation of environment safeguards documents like Initial Environmental Impact (IEE) of different projects while identifying the external factors that could influence the success or cause failure (risks and critical assumptions) of the project during its conceptualization stages • Encourage carbon sequestering for all the projects, requested SMC to convert landfill site into a park at various stages of cell completion • Organized public consultation and training/awareness programs such as basic computer skills, tailoring and sewing training, awareness about hygienic sanitation, ensuring at least 40% female participation • Coordinated with environmental testing laboratory team and tested different sites for the environmental impact such as air, water, and noise levels due to ongoing construction and compare them with the baseline quality and furnish reports to all stakeholders • Developing a logistical solution to address the need of salvaging waste generation at our construction sites and developing a plan for reusability • Voluntarily conducted a study on solar analysis for multi-level office complexes and suggested modification in the design to the consultant for re-location of cubicles towards north for the visual comfort of officers and suggested change for glass specification with VLT of 49% instead of 62% • Conducted a case study along with Srinagar Municipality and identified around 200 spots in and around Srinagar where resident locals dumped trash on the roadside due to non-availability of a garbage dumpster
