I've had the pleasure of working closely with Fannie for the last two years at a fast-paced, often hectic startup. Despite constantly juggling design requests and projects from six different departments, Fannie delivered each and every design asset - from last-minute edits to large product design systems - with the same amount of poise, attention to detail, and creative fervor. She easily partners with marketing, product, and executive team members to decipher their visions and executes her designs with a speed that often leaves us speechless. She will be an amazing addition to every team she joins throughout her career!

Fannie is the ideal collaborator, and a great person to work with and learn from. Over the course of hundreds of projects over the last year and a half, she's shown her ability to apply rigorous research and systems-level design thinking to UX and UI problems. She works hard to understand the context for a project, seek out relevant examples from other products or projects, and provide solutions that she can defend. Because we work together at a biotechnology company, I've also had the opportunity to watch her set her intelligence and curiosity loose on medical and scientific concepts that can be difficult to grasp. Our products are often founded on a deep understanding of a patient's path through treatment, or what different treatments entail, or the efficient and responsible communication of genetic information. Fannie always dives right in, providing informed UX expertise that takes these complex communications problems into account. Regardless of her domain expertise, Fannie is exactly the kind of co-worker you'd want: she takes other people's ideas very seriously and is able to advocate for her own, she's hard-working and resourceful, and she always rises to the occasion—even under impossibly tight deadlines or with creative briefs that are thin on the details (or, let's be real, non-existent).
