  During my week of work experience in the Clinical Photography Department of the Royal Gwent Hospital, I shadowed the photographers as they carried out dermatology and ophthalmology clinics. I also had the privilege of visiting patients on the wards and observing a major surgical procedure in theatre, as the photographers captured the required images.
