Chara and I shared lab and office at the Blixt lab from 2015-2017. Her work on malaria and GUVs made great results and was communicated in a way that was understandable by her skills of the topic, her large work effort and her great teaching skills. She understands the surface of biology, biochemistry, chemistry, nanotechnology and pharmacology and works well within all of these topics. Her work has been very good and her spirits high. I would be lucky to work with her again.

My work in CfD is focused on the development of assays for the detection of different markers (proteins, peptides, small molecules) taking the advantage of aptamers. My responsibilities include the development of new aptamers towards small molecules and non-immunogenic targets for their ultimate use in different detection methods as LFA, LSPR and SERS assays. The focus in the clinical laboratory was on routine work testing patient samples (serum, plasma, whole blood, urine, feces, stones). I personally was trained and worked in all different positions in the laboratory, handling different equipment for sample analysis including serological assays (chemiluminescence, ELISA), electrophoresis, FACS, HPLC, optical and fluorescence microscopy, LFA tests. • Clinical analysis handling Integra 2000, Cobas e600 and c450, Sysmex CA-500, Sysmex XT 1800i and Architect Immunoassay Analyzers • Hemoglobin and serum proteins electrophoresis training • Performed ELISA test for measurements of a variety of antibodies Show less
