(many application details are confidential secret). (1) I iteratively designed a malware sequence dataset using adversarial machine learning. (2) I analyzed time series data (LOF, LDCOF, cross correlation, DTW distance, granger causality) for several applications and presented results. (3) I used feature selection methods (Random Forest, MARS, Boruta) and automated machine learning (TPOT) to generate series of classifiers to evaluate data mitigations. Skills: Python (Cleverhans, Tensorflow, Keras, TPOT, Seaborn, etc.), Git(Hub), R, Matlab, etc. Show less

I established an offline data processing pipeline for Calendar.Help. This pipeline processes raw data into meaningful metrics such as User Churn Bucket and Task Queue Time. These metrics track how the user population develops over time and how changing/scaling Calendar.Help affects worker task efficiency. In addition, this offline pipeline detects & alerts the DRI whenever there are requests pending without an ICS sent and whenever a task is idle in queue for too long. I also made significant contributions to the automated Black-Box test suite. Skills: C-sharp, SQL, Azure Show less

      (1) I worked in an Agile/Scrum team Mon-Thurs on a Self-Serve Campaign web app. Among miscellaneous html/jsp details, one innovation was to improve the drag-and-drop segment creation with a logic tree, implemented as a jstree. (2) I worked on an Amazon Alexa/Echo skill on Fridays. We created a “banking-for-good” skill that interfaced with the Nessie API and Amazon Advertising API via http requests. We also interfaced DynamoDB. Skills: Java, Amazon Echo, Angular.js, Node.js, Html, Spring, etc. Show less

      (1) I interfaced Team Center with Visual Basic and Creo/Pro-E with Python/VB to help optimize and investigate part builds. (2) I did a lot of excel/csv/data manipulation with Numpy & Pandas. (3) I built a mock-up Android App intended to improve supervisor efficiency. (4) I built a dynamic Pin-Joint Schematic visual. Given incomplete user input, the visual uses the given input to determine default values for the other inputs to make the most coherent visualization. (5) I investigated the viability of ARToolkit with respect to DAQRI 4D-Studio. (6) Other trivial: Made a power-point to summarize a winning team’s Machine Learning strategy. I also dabbled in Tableau / SQL Workbench. Skills: (wx)Python, Android Java, ARToolkit (in C), Visual Basic API for Creo, etc. Show less

    • SOCHE - Summer Intern
      • Jun 2015 - Aug 2015

Mathematical analysis & implementation of game theory techniques and solutions for pursuer-evader situations with deception. Learning: I studied game theory, hypergame theory, Nash solution algorithms, and Java's Swing through relevant textbook chapters, MOOC videos, research papers, and well-established game theory software. jHALF (Hypergame Analysis and Logic Framework): (1) I added a GUI for game generation, (2) I implemented the support enumeration method for finding all Nash equilibria, (3) I debugged the major functional modeling and belief context generation issues, (4) I validated our software tools against classic, historic, and research examples, (5) I created user and developer manuals for our software (6) I presented at poster session SOCHE Report attached, giving an overview of my summer. Skills: Java, Swing, & (Tortoise)SVN, Academics: Hypergame Theory, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Show less

    • SATE Scholars Program - Sprint Intern
      • Jul 2014 - Aug 2014

Orientation and training: Mid May to July 13 We studied Android, Google Maps, and our project assignments. We then freely created 3D objects, enhanced with LSL scripts, to get situated with the virtual Firestorm environment. Project AVATAR: July 14 to August 17, part-time/flex-time 100 hours paid over 5 weeks. Worked in a team of three. Personally designed and implemented... (1) direct map movement to user-given coordinates or landmarks, (2) attribute-tagging of markers, (3) custom marker icons, (4) visual filtering of markers, and (5) minor information layout improvements. (6) I shared the results at Wright State Open House. I worked as a paid sprint intern for 5 weeks (100 hours) on project AVATAR, an android app. Project AVATAR uses the Google Maps API to facilitate emergency response management. Program represents a unique partnership between WBI, AFRL and WSU: Employment records at Wright State University. Copy/paste of my section from my AVATAR team's technical paper attached. 257 video link below, which gives an overview of my entire summer. All videos had to be exactly 2 minutes and 57 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZiSeFZIi98 Skills: Java, Android, Google Maps API, & some XML. Show less
