Developed initially to include study upload and dashboard features, allowing colleagues to easily store and quickly locate key study information. Added additional components for metrics reporting and colleague resource visualization to streamline quarterly reporting and workload planning/forecasting. Project "B": Designed and implemented a set of Gantt-like visualizations for a clinical trial and assay planning system; interactive plots save portfolio managers a full week per month of Excel/PowerPoint data manipulation and plotting. Project "C": Developer on team building a Web “encyclopedia” for cancer data (genomic, proteomic, flow cytometry, histology) from tumor models. Created interfaces for scientists to query data as well as generate plots for summary in presentations and publications. Solved technical challenges in plotting and navigating up to 100,000 data points in the browser.Project "D": Full re-write of an existing genomics data management platform. Architected to allow for fast faceted browsing of complex data using ElasticSearch. Java Web services provide endpoints for a TypeScript (Angular) front-end. Customized the open-source BioMart platform to enable robust data retrieval from over 70 clinical projects. Developed interactive charting components (JavaScript, Highcharts) to enable target discovery and early hypothesis generation for biologists. Pfizer’s enhancements were the subject of a publication in Nature Methods. Project "F": Development lead on an application to manage tumor model inventory. Components developed to make several lab workflows more efficient, such as: measurement capture, ordering, and growth curve plotting (Java, JSP, JavaScript). Moved from requirements to deployment in six months. Project "G": Implemented enhancements for an assay request and tracking system for vaccine research. Wrote controller, service, and DAO classes (Java, Struts, Hibernate, Oracle) and repurposed an existing UI. Project "J": Supported the launch of a global SaaS ideas management system (Spigit) through front-end debugging to integrate Pfizer’s SSO implementation. Moderated a “green” challenge for colleagues worldwide, guiding idea greenhousing and curation. Project "K": Lead a cross-line pilot for iPad usage in R&D.
