  As Chief Development Officer, I led our team in building and sustaining the broader community of financial partners. Our funding is completely private, with over 70% coming from individual donors. Over 1200 individuals, churches, companies, and foundations invest in our work. Since 2016, we've grown our annual operating revenue from $1.9 million to $2.5 million.-I serve as a major gift officer to steward and advance a major donor caseload with 100 key partners that generates 60% of our annual revenue ($1.8 million). I ensure that these partners are connected with the work, inspired by our students, invited to invest, and thanked for their partnership.-I set and implement our overall fundraising strategy, and lead our team in building the systems & structures that ensure good stewardship, great donor experiences, and a staff culture of inspiration & gratitude for every single partner. Particularly, we're executing a complete overhaul of our strategy and systems as we move from a model where every staff member fundraises, to a centralized development model.

  Haiti Partners is dedicated to helping Haitians change Haiti through education. With my Haitian counterpart (& reporting directly to Haiti Partners Co-Director), led overall management of the Holistic Churches Program, which seeks to mobilize Haitian churches to help people engage for justice & deepen in faith. Since 2010, our team has: - Developed innovative Bible Study curricula on women’s & children’s right used across Haiti - Mobilized over 2,000 pastors & leaders on children’s rights & human trafficking - Launched the Micah Scholars Initiative, providing scholarships to 43 young Haitian leaders to pursue bachelor’s degrees at Haitian seminaries & apprenticeship in our faith-based human rights work, along with leadership development workshops & retreats. - Piloted cutting edge household & attitudinal surveys administered on mobile devices to measure the impact of our work on child servitude. • Primary/sole grant writer, manager, and reporter for 12 foundation grants totaling $634,000, member of writing team for 4 foundation grants totaling $972,000.• With our finance coordinator, responsible for overhauling & upgrading our financial management systems in Haiti & the US.• Currently leading the US team in adoption of a new CRM, moving from eTapestry to the Salesforce NonProfit Starter Pack.• Since 2013, responsible for leading & improving our overall budget & financial management processes in the US & Haiti, as well as supporting our finance coordinator during the independent financial audit.• As a part of the development & communications team, contributed to a total website redesign, & continuing to contribute to social media strategy & implementation, copywriting, video production, & overall brand.• Led IT support & acquisition for staff in the US & Haiti, led adoption & implementation of Asana, Google Apps, TripIt, Expensify, & Quickbooks Online.• Led service trips & visits for over 75 visitors to Haiti.
