The Education Fund accelerates the renewal of competences in the labour market by providing adult education allowance and scholarships. Year 2016 the Fund paid out 199 million euros of benefits to 48 000 people. The operations are mainly funded by unemployment insurance funds. The Fund employs 45 people. As Managing Director I had responsibility of leading and developing the organization as a whole to implement its strategy and prepare for the future. During 2015-16, I also had the responsibilities of HR Director. During 8/2017 - 1/2018 I lead the merger of the Education Fund and the Unemployment Insurance Fund (TVR) together with Managing Director of TVR. While leading the Education Fund, as a result of digitalization, development of working processes, HRD and management, the average time taken to process benefit applications was cut from 32 days to 11 days without increasing costs or lowering quality. At the same time the employee satisfaction improved and was among top in the non-profit associations sector. Show less
