As part of the engineering section for the Queen's Racing team, I spearheaded the design of a pneumatic shifting mechanism. I ran a team of 3 engineers with the intention of mentoring and teaching them about the system and powertrain design of the car, as well as the application of engineering processes to their work. Through the use of SolidWorks CAD models and python simulations, I laid the groundwork for future prototyping and design of the powertrain. I was responsible for the service and maintenance of 12 boats and motors. Besides oil, anode and filter changes, I designed and redid the wiring for lights, pumps and radios, and performed an engine code analysis and diagnosis on each motor. I performed dozens of oil changes and tire rotations on company vehicles and diagnosed and fixed several "gator" carts and a ride-on lawnmower. My work required adherence to a busy schedule and deadlines, working on multiple projects at the same time. I was responsible for the service and maintenance of 12 boats and motors.
