Worthy Warrior coordinators are a key part of Glastonbury’s sustainability team and are crucial to helping uphold the event's promise to look after the land which the Festival calls home. I was a manager of a team of volunteers, ensuring they were compliant with sustainable practices. I worked to educate Festival-goers and lead by example in looking after campsites, utilising water sensibly and using Festival bins effectively. Participated in the F1 In Schools scheme in two separate teams (2015 & 2017). The process involves design, developing and racing a balsa wood model car, working from an initial concept to prototype. In the first team, the role of team leader was assumed; skills for entrepreneurship and leadership were developed. Worked as a Design Engineer for the second team and utilised a creative design flair; competed at National level with Porsche as asponsor.
