Bio
Lee Barry Shepard
I had the opportunity to work with Shane while we were both with the Savannah College of Art and Design. He was the lead faculty for a collaborative project with the Fox Theatre in Midtown Atlanta. Shane led a group of interior design students through a 10-week class project that resulted in the design of "The Fox in a Box," a didactic pod intended to communicate the history and mystery of the Fox Theatre to external audiences. Shane showed great leadership skills; he established a team charter based on student experience and capabilities, he defined the project timeline, managed the project, and met all due dates and deliverables. Overall, Shane guided students through a real-world professional experience that resulted in a successful partnership with the Fox Theatre.
