Roger is a real star. Collaborative, imaginative and results oriented A great team player and fun to work with

Roger was my lecturer during my time in UNSW, which were my most fulfilling academic years. I've learned a lot and has been intellectually challenged by him. Thank you. Best regards, Eka Budhiman

My role as Director Accreditation at the Australian School of Business at UNSW carried substantial responsibility, but no authority. With nine schools, twenty-four programs, six research centres, 275 permanent staff and 95 professional staff, my task was to elicit support and buy-in for the accreditation process by identifying the advantages of the accreditation process and the positive outcomes for the Faculty, its staff and its students. My main achievements as Director Accreditation were:• leading the faculty through the development and adaptation of policies and processes required to attain business school accreditation;• coordinating and chairing meetings of program directors and coordinators of ASB’s 24 programs for the purpose of generating learning goals and objectives in accordance with AACSB Assurance of Learning; • managing the writing, editing and production of a whole-of-faculty report required for EQUIS accreditation and organised the EQUIS peer review visit of March 2010;• benchmarking ASB in terms of rankings and ratings across teaching, research and organisational indicators; • renewing student engagement in the policies and strategies of ASB by creating a Student Consultative Group and integrating it into the accreditation process;• securing the buy-in of Faculty staff in the teaching & learning demands of Assurance of Learning; • securing the support of staff at the School of Business at the Australian Defense Force Academy in the AACSB process; and • being an active member and contributor to the Faculty Undergraduate Education and Postgraduate Coursework committees.
