As a Scrum Master, I have been tasked with overseeing internal and outsourced development teams responsible for maintaining software solutions (across several time-zones). This role has required delivering training to new teams and help facilitate business issues between Support teams and Product Owners. Initially my time at PerkinElmer was spent designing and coding features in Volocity (one of our cross-platform desktop applications) in C++, but more recently I have also been developing and maintaining the Columbus webapp using a mix of several technologies including Python (Django framework), Javascript, CSS and HTML. Also assisted in the developemnt of Translational Medicine products using C# (.Net 4.5 framework). My role requires me to manage relationships with certain third-party software and hardware vendors to leverage their products and services, allowing our software to be compatible with their new technologies and devices.
