Managed AB InBev operations in North West India (5 production plants). Secured smooth operations integration between AB InBev and SAB Miller. Realized global Synergy target (20 m$ cost saving). Achieved first in the world Budweiser beer manufactured at an ex-SAB Miller brewery after the merger. Introduced a new manufacturing excellence program - Voyager Plant Optimization global pilot.

Technical Director - India and South East Asia

Established centralized technical support service for India and South East Asia (environment, safety, quality, brewing, packaging, maintenance, utility and capital investment areas). Completed expansion of 2 existing production plants in Asia (Green Field, Brown Field). Conducted technical due diligence of a new plant. Efficiently controlled budget planning and fulfilment process (FIC; VIC, Capex).

Senior Project Manager - Europe Zone

Carried out technical support function restructuring after CEE and WE Zones merge. Realized large capital program in civil & utility area (100 m$). Implemented divestment of 5 production plants. Completed relocation of the used production lines to emerging markets (China, India). Provided support on project management methodology (Prince 2) as an internal consultant.

Engineering Director - Central and Eastern Europe

Accountable for all capital investment projects in Central & Eastern Europe (12 breweries and 4 malting plants). Created centralized Engineering team from 0 (brewing projects, packaging projects, civil & utility projects, strategic projects). Successfully implemented large-scale innovation projects (Budweiser beer launch at 2 production plants in Russia and Ukraine).

Brewery Manager

Successfully led manufacturing operations (Stella Artois, Beck’s, Brahma etc.). Formulated and executed business strategy (plant dream –> 3-year plan –> operational plans). Successfully implemented VPO (manufacturing excellence) system and achieved good correlation between “means” and “results” (productivity +42%; production line efficiency +17%; product loss -9%; energy consumption -10%).

Managed Technical Services, Engineering Services and Capital Projects departments. Responsible for cross functional application of project management methodology (Prince 2) as country PMO manager. First point of contact with local authorities and stakeholders (state inspections, city council etc.).

Installation, start-up and maintenance of packaging lines. Work with local & international equipment / service suppliers. First production of Kent and Vogue brands. Barley line upgrade in Primary department (used for Lucky Strike production).
