One of my primary responsibilities was overseeing the strategy for paid media channels, email/SMS, and SEO. I implemented best practices and data-driven decision-making to optimize these channels, resulting in consecutive month-over-month increases in revenue. By taking a holistic approach to marketing, I ensured that all channels worked together seamlessly, resulting in a cohesive customer journey that drove business growth. As part of my role, I was also responsible for creating the overarching marketing plan and go-to-market strategy, resulting in a multi-million dollar run rate in the first 12 months. This involved collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and create effective marketing campaigns that resonated with our target audience. To further improve our marketing efforts, I overhauled the CRM strategy, which included testing, technical improvements, creative enhancements, and lifecycle optimizations. These efforts increased the share of ecommerce revenue generated from email/SMS by 2x, proving that small improvements can have a significant impact on the bottom line. Another area of focus was developing retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value (LTV) by 25%. I worked closely with the product and analytics team to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and keep customers engaged with our brand. Finally, I reduced customer acquisition costs (CAC) and met our targets 100% if not exceeding them by combining quantitative and qualitative customer insights with platform best practices. By redefining the customer acquisition approach, I was able to optimize the funnel, improve conversion rates, and drive down costs.

Developed digital resources and campaigns reaching thousands while driving sales and returning 2 fold the investment. Also, I I created, developed and managed programs over with annual budgets of $1 million or more. Managing team of designers and engineers to identify and execute solutions bridging the gap between organizations and digital opportunities was challenging but fun. Together we've designed products, brought them to market and marketed them to the people whom they matter to the most. Along the way, I did the important but non glamorous work of accounting, people development, benefits and compensation to name a few. Which is fine because it builds great companies, which builds great cultures and which in turn builds great people. Worked with the coolest team to help people across the country save or buy their first home. Projects both big and small ruled life here. Though my title doesn't tell it, I was pseudo IT, grant writer and whatever else we needed to get the job done. However, my favorite things were strategy, event planning, program management and marketing because it's no greater joy then to watch your creations come to life and work (for the most part).
