      I am a Major in the Swiss Armed Forces.Right now I am the XO of the 10th NBC Defense Batallion.Until 2016 I had the honour to be the Commanding Officer of the second counter CBRN warfare company.Under my command 200 soldiers, 35 sergeants, 4 warrant officers and 23 officers are preparing to counter possible threats concerning nuclear, radiological, biological or chemical events caused by natural disaster and human hand. We train four to three weeks a year stationed at alternating camps around Switzerland and stand ready the rest of the year should such an event arise. Luckily we did not yet have to prove our expertise.
