Dora is above all - focused on what she can do for others, not just herself. You don't see a great deal of soul and charisma in the corporate world anymore. Not only is she a phenomenal woman, but she is a humble student, amazing mentor, hard worker, and my first choice as a Program Manager. She thinks in terms of solution - not problem. I hope to have the honor of working by this incredible woman's side in the near future, as I know I will learn a great deal more about being an effective leader.

Rodolfo Gutierrez

Dora D. is a detail oriented manager who watches the balance sheet like a hawk without ever losing sight of the strategic objective.

      • Feb 2019 - Aug 2019

As a Graduate Assistant for Student Wellness and Health Promotion, I was the facilitator for the following programs: BASICS/Bystander Intervention/Student Development. The BASICS Program is an empirically-validated protocol. I conducted brief interventions using Motivational Interviewing. I helped identify substance use, abuse, and dependence in college students, and I educated them on appropriate risk reduction strategies by assessing stage of change to deliver a personalized intervention. Moreover, I integrated educational interventions, participated in weekly staff meetings to address programmatic issues, organized and secured student files, and monitored all aspects to ensure compliance with all legal statues.
