I met Henry, Sgt. Bodden at the time, in 1994 while in A School at 29 Palms, California. He was always upbeat, inspiring, and seeking to improve not only himself but others around him. His enthusiasm for life and for mission were contagious. He brought out the best in everyone he encountered. In all of my 41 years, I've met very few individuals like Henry. He's a precious gem. To have him on your team is a blessing. I had the pleasure of serving with him, beside him, and will always be grateful for the attention and commitment that he invested in making me not only a better Marine, but a better person.
