VIE of 16 months with Groupe BBS (Rhum Trois Rivières & Maison la Mauny, AOC rhums from Martinique) and Alcobrands (importer of the 2 brands in Belgium and Luxembourg), I have been hired as a brand ambassador. My missions and duties: - sales through On-Trade (HORECA) and Off-Trade (independent liquor store, cavistes, cash & carry) - collaboration to help sales representatives from our importer (Alcobrands) and all the middle men (Covivins, Alphasales, Lanneau, Maison du Rhum...) in order to increase distribution and brand awareness - Organization of Masterclasses, Guestshifts with Bartenders and Rum festivals (more than 50 Masterclasses organized) - Representing both brands in Europe for shows and exhibitions (Prowein, Paris Rhum Fest, Nordic Rum Fest, Dugas Club Expert, SPA Salon du Rhum, Quintessence, etc...) - Monitoring budget and strategy for Belux market - Representing the brands on local festival (Hesby Drink, Comptoir des Boissons, Tobys Vins, Grange aux Vins, La Barrique...) - Synchronizing launch of new products (Editions du Bar from Trois Rivières; Arrangés from Maison la Mauny) with head office in Paris and importer in Belgium - Direct reporting to Export Manager based in Paris; following up of annual sales objective - Synchronizing strategy of distribution between France and Belgium (price, consumer trends) - Monitoring of competition Show less

"I've been hired as a wine advisor to increase sales of Monsieur Chatté for 5 months. I acquired: - organizational skills (wine tasting event, wine and food pairing, management of stocks, report to central office, creation of in shop event) - managerial skills (training of multicultural employees for wine knowledge, recommendation of sales technique and good ability to switch from sales to marketing activities) - relational skills (quick integration with the team, ease to create and enhance relationship with customers, ability to speak in front of many listeners)" "This first Asian experience taught me to deal efficiently with both customers and suppliers on the retail level. I am now able to lead an event from the organization until the final presentation in external corporate offices.
