  As part of EF’s desire to do better at listening to and involving young people more directly with their work, they are working with the Involving Young People Collective to help them design and test ways in which they can do this. So far the young people have developed standards, organised roundtables with other funders working with young people, ran innovation hackathons (rooted in human centred-design) and sprints on topics like “EF’s investment strategy “ and “Diversity, equity and inclusion in the environmental sector”. They’ve also worked on assessing grants and inputting into other pieces of work that EF is undertaking. For this piece, I brought my expertise in co-design and innovation to bring fresh perspectives to the young people and the organisation as a whole.
