    • Arts and Crafts Instructor
      • Jun 2014 - Aug 2017

Planning arts & crafts related activities for children over the American summer. Lead groups of up to 15 children in one hour sessions with a maximum of five sessions a day. Designed the end of summer themed prom, leading a team of camp counselors to create an interactive artistic experience for the kids. I was twice appointed the commander-in-chief, the highest role underneath a camp director, to lead half of the camp (100 plus) in a four-day intensive competition where I would oversee events, songs, plays and manage a team of ranked staff for the kids to compete. This gave me valuable leadership skills and encouraged a strong work ethic in collaboration and problem-solving. Awarded Super Instructor 2014, 2015 for willingness to go above and beyond normal camp duties in order to ensure that my activity and other responsibilities ran smoothly, and to ensure the kids had the best camp experience.
