I was able to sit in a series of three taster lessons, which were a reflection of three separate modules in the MBBS programme. One of these was the Clinical and Professional Practice (CPP), to which we delved into ethical requirements of Doctors. I found this very insightful.

I attended a series of Cambridge based events on the importance of my A level choices, then sat through a science based lecture on Epigenetics.Epigentics was described as 'stuff on top of DNA' but later explained how epigentic marks are influenced by our environment. The lecturer explained the potential links with aging in women, in terms of X-chromosomes inactivation, and the possibility of epigenetics being passed down in generations.
