What are the Jeux Intervillages de Beauvechain? The Jeux Intervillages de Beauvechain are a set of sports, recreational and cultural activities that bring together the six villages of the Beauvechain Commune. Why organize games? The inter-village games were born to give the inhabitants of the commune (and their friends...) a great opportunity to get together in a friendly atmosphere. All of this, around events that require participants to know the town well, but also to know each other well to successfully complete the events designed by the committee. To learn more, a few words on the circumstances of the creation of the association. In 2012, the Commune of Beauvechain organized the Young Talents contest in order to encourage the young people of the entity to set up their project, whether it is humanitarian, intergenerational or cultural. Kevin van Bochove had the idea to organize an inter-village game for the commune of Beauvechain. The JIVB project pleased the jury and won the competition, leading to the birth of the association and the first games in Beauvechain. To revive the village spirit, to bring the inhabitants together and to federate all the participants around a common project, this is the original objective of the JIVB, which still remains the same as the seventh edition approaches.
