Judy is not only a wonderful teacher, but a wonderful person. As a student she gently - but firmly -pushed me to meet the standards she knew I could achieve. Without her guidance, her knowledge and her belief in my abilities, I wouldn't have had the confidence or the skill to continue to grow as a creative.

Having had Judy as an instructor each year at the IDEA program has had a big impact on my experience there. She really goes the distance in curating her course materials. The professional development class was definitely a highlight and really helped prepare us for what to expect in the industry in a number of ways. Judy brought in a wide variety of guest speakers from different disciplines and corners of the industry to share their experiences and perspectives, all of which were extremely insightful. When it came to personal branding and figuring out what we as individuals had to bring to the table, I believe all of us left with more confidence and a much more clear idea of our direction. Not one to sugar coat things, Judy tells it how it is while remaining supportive and encouraging! Thanks for all the great direction, it's been great!

Built a strong creative team at MEC, putting best practises and project management systems into place, that ensured a high-functioning studio capable of executing a large workload to a high standard. Helped move the brand from a mish-mash of unmemorable executions, to a strong, recognisable identity that captured the brand personality. This included shepherding MEC through a significant rebrand in 2005 and two subsequent website redesigns. Punch provided the opportunity to work with some very talented people. Collaborated with an extensive list of agencies and direct clients, in BC and across Canada, including working extensively with Kal Tire and the Royal BC Museum on both advertising campaigns and branding projects. Worked on anything and everything, from in-store promotions for pasta, on-pack promotions for razors, annual reports for banks and insurance companies, to a perfume launch for Princess Stephanie of Monaco. Gained a solid base in branding while working on identities for major corporations across Europe. Helped design train liveries and platform signage for Network SouthEast: the first part of the British Rail network to be privatised. Also ate the most memorable meal ever at La Dorada in Madrid, while doing research for the Banesto Bank identity.
