Fantasy Writer
-
Aug 2014 - Jul 2015
At The Sports Network, I wrote a daily column on timely sports news stories from a fantasy perspective pertaining to either the MLB, NBA, NFL or NHL. During the NFL season, our department released weekly position rankings based on the upcoming matchups in the games that weekend. The positions our department ranked are quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, kickers and defenses. Typically, I would do two of these positions per week on a rotating basis. The rest of my job included following sports news on several different websites and watching live games at night in order to write player notes based on performances and injuries. I also updated the rosters and depth charts for all 122 professional teams and post my columns on social media outlets.
