After two years of training and hands on experience as a mechanic I earned a promotion to Collateral Duty Inspector (quality assurance representative) and Work Center Supervisor. I managed both the Airframe and Corrosion Control shop for three years. I successful preformed my responsibilities overseeing the corrective, preventive, risk-based and condition-based maintenance, resulting in the mission readiness of 14 C-130 aircraft. I was also a Manager in the Tool Control program, qualified aircraft painter, and an Emergency Reclamation team member. As a Corporal I supervised and trained 12 junior Marines in matters pertaining to aircraft maintenance and military actions. Show less
