I was Jim's direct supervisor at Tracing Health - Public Health Institute. Jim has an excellent work ethic and easy-going, approachable manner. Jim was reliable and diligent in his work, paying attention to detail and completing all tasks before required deadlines. It would be my pleasure to work with Jim again in the future.
Todd Redford
It is my pleasure to enthusiastically recommend Jim Deal for employment with your organization. My name is Todd Redford, Deputy Director for a Portland based nonprofit, focusing on Public Health. I had the pleasure of working with Jim for over two years while he was a COVID-19 Case Investigator with PHI/Tracing Health. Of all the Case Investigators I’ve worked with; Jim is among the most dedicated and compassionate. Working together during the pandemic, Jim proved to be quick, compassionate, and diligent in his work. His collaboration with leadership and his coworkers were truly impressive, and his ability to adapt to the constant changes of the pandemic were extraordinary. He also possesses that rare skill to transfer his experience to new teammates and make their onboarding process truly successful. Jim’s passions extend well beyond the office as well. During our almost 2 years working together, Jim brought his authentic self to every meeting and team activity. We all learned of his love of baseball & squirrels, and how skilled he is at making new team members feel comfortable in their new job. I am confident without reservation that Jim would be an excellent fit for your organization. His dedication to his work and his exceptional customer service skills will make him a valued and productive member of your team.
