I strongly recommend Adam for his job in the backend and frowned systems. It is a very good developer and can find quick solutions to problems.

During my time at Eventpad, I worked alongside Adam as my senior to deliver web based projects, in conjunction with IOS applications built internally by our team. I found during this period Adam to be extremely brilliant, accurate and detailed in his work, and especially great at backend coder. Adam introduced me to a range of technologies and I found that he was always on hand to help me whether he himself was extremely busy or not. Adam is also a fantastic team player and always contributes at planning and very creative in his approach to new ideas for a project. I highly recommend Adam, and cherish the fact that I worked with such a talented individual.

Eventpad maintains two primary iPad apps. I develop and maintain the APIs and backend sytems behind these. I am responsible for it's quality both architecturally and from a user perspective. I also manage the team of PHP developers focussing on the core CMS, the frontend developers working on the web-based app, mentoring less experienced developers, recruiting and being involved in their appraisals. I have implemented workflows and processes to match a transition to Agile processes and to allow the team to work efficiently.

Whilst at Rippleffect, I was responsible for the development and maintenance of several medium/high traffic websites, including Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Arsenal Player, amongst others. Specific tasks included investigation/reporting on complex payment gateway issues for a subscription-based website, and developing a multi-lingual website (including right-to-left languages). At this award-winning design agency which works on interesting and high-profle projects, I am responsible for the process of architectural design, implementation and deployment of complex websites and software systems. This involves discussing requirements with clients to get a good understanding of their needs, before considering the best solution with a small team of designers, and implementing the code and infrastructure either alone, or as part of a small technical team. This client based work means that I am constantly evaluating customer needs and our progress to ensure that our software helps achieve their business goals.Due to my technical skills, I am often involved in setting up internal administrative systems for the company, such as version control software, online access for job tracking, and other tasks which need in-depth technical knowledge and experience.A large focus of my role is being solely responsible for developing and maintaining a bespoke content management system that underpins the majority of our web projects.

I worked as part of a small team, maintaining several websites belonging to the trust. My main role was in developing and integrating solutions into the existing systems, and managing the maintenance of the servers. I provided systems that were used internally within the company, not just for the public facing web sites. This typically involved writing small shell scripts to automate tasks, and using UNIX tools, to scan through databases, and merge email distrubution lists, as one example. The nature of the trust meant that two tasks were rarely alike, and always provided fresh challenges. Although the trust unfortunately went into administration, the Deputy IT Manager, current Director at Subsequence saw fit to recommend me to another company (Smiling Wolf) and also enlisted my freelance help when starting their own business.
