Collaborated with the Building Impact team to design, coordinate and facilitate hands on volunteer projects to benefit local nonprofits partners working to solve critical social issues in the Greater Boston community. Through conversations with our nonprofit partners, we co-designed in office volunteering projects to bring to company offices to raise awareness about the organization and create a meaningful donation for the organization such as Literacy Packets for the Boston Public Schools. Through communication with a network of over 65 company ambassadors, I engaged companies in the area to increase their corporate social responsibility through Building Impact programming and worked to strategically recruit new Ambassadors. I also managed volunteer engagement data tracking, developed new partnerships, coordinated Corporate Days of Service and assisted with special projects such a Tech Gives Back and the MIT Leading with Impact program. I have helped to recruit, hire and manage three college interns at the organization.

Wellesley College's Center for Work and Service (now called Career Education) connects students with opportunities to serve in the local Boston community, as well as gain experience through internships and receive career counseling. Wellesley is a member of Massachusetts Campus Compact, an organization of college presidents committed to fostering civic engagement and partnerships with local community organizations. I was a Massachusetts Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA placed at the CWS. I coordinated transportation, grants, trainings and meetings for student volunteers, as well as facilitated the community partnership between Wellesley and St. Stephen's Afterschool Program in the South End of Boston. I attended trainings and retreats provided by Massachusetts Campus Compact about partnership building, leadership and social justice organized by VISTA leaders as well as attended conferences about community engagement. I served in this position for one year and my service term ended on August 26, 2016.

Rennert International is a high quality, private language school for international adults interested in immersing themselves in a communicative English learning environment with very small class sizes. While a ESL teacher at Rennert, I delivered intensive and communicative beginner, intermediate and advanced English lessons to adult international students. I attended monthly professional development workshops about topics such as teaching grammar and project based lesson plans. The Putney School Summer Program is a summer boarding experience for high school students to explore and learn about the arts and farming in a supportive and creative environment. As the Residence Life Coordinator, I assigned all of the roommates, planned and facilitated the orientation of the dorm counselors and then coordinated the emotional well-being and social life of 100 high school students from across the US and all over the world. Through my relationships with the counselors, teachers, parents and administration, I held a leadership position in organizing field trips, dances and events for the students as well as having conversations with students who had a hard time socially, emotionally or psychologically while attending the program.

Light and Leadership is a small, grassroots non-profit organization working in a low-income developing city outside of Lima, Peru. The organization provides extracurricular support and learning opportunities for children and women in community. The Boston Children's Museum is one of the country's oldest and most well respected children's museums serving a very diverse population of local and international families visiting Boston. The museum strives to encourage hands-on learning and play to foster children's development and understanding of the world. While working at the Boston Children's Museum as a Visitor Experience Associate, I assisted with educational programing and customer service on the floor of the museum. I facilitated a variety of science, art and cultural activities including guided visits of the authentic Japanese House and hands on science explorations.
