Designed, developed and deployed a process (VB.NET, MS Access) which reads input files in excel, text format used by the various department in the company for tracking workflows. The input files are then reformatted to a file layout as is expected to be loaded into Macess.exp (Workflow management system). These are worked on by business users as workflows. Also in this process some files are created in a XML format to be imported into Macess.exp as Service forms. The process also when run reads member, provider, and vendor demographic data from the database which are used to created folder systems in Macess.exp.Technology: VB.NET 2005, SQL 2000, Excel, VBA.Worked with the different object models in Macess.exp. Wrote vbscripts for importing to Macess.exp. Worked with consultants in Sungard (Vendor for Macess) during the implementation process.Developed a Medical Records Review Administrative Database application for the Quality Improvement department to collect medical record review data for HEDIS/QARR and MEDS each reporting year. The database is created according to NCQA requirements and is audited by Healthfirst’s IPRO auditor. The application allows new encounter claims to be entered into the database to be extracted as claims. Was fully responsible for the execution of the project life cycle: database design, conversion and importing existing data, system architecture, back end and front end development.
