Script Editor for a 6 x 30 comedy drama adapted from a YA series of novels: Participated in the writers’ room, compiling notes and pulling together the episode outlines Using knowledge of the original material to inform serial story documents and creating reference documents for the writers such as rules of the world, character bios etc. Guided the writers through from outline to first draft Compiled the team’s notes and delivered them to the writers, guiding them through four drafts and implementing BBC notes at several stages Alongside the Development Executive I ran a shadow scheme, funded by the BBC, taking two new writers through the process of storylining, creating an outline, and through the draft process.
