A Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) leader is a high achieving student that facilitate a group study session for students in units with high fail rates or first year units. I am a leader for PSY1101 (Introduction to Psychology) having achieved a grade of 92% when I completed the unit in 2021. Being a PASS leader requires planning for sessions, time management during sessions and active listening and communication skills in order to tailor sessions to student needs. This requires the building of strong relationships which I do through my communication skills and sense of humour.
