Project Coordinator

Mar 2019 - Mar 2022
TeamGrowNL was a project that aimed to help local businesses meet their human resources needs, if not available locally, through existing immigration programming and expatriate opportunities in Newfoundland and Labrador and Atlantic Canada.Being well-versed with available government (and other) services and supports that can help businesses address human resources needs through immigration, I worked with NL employers one-on-one to understand HR needs, communicated available services and supports, and guided firms through application processes where appropriate. I collaborated with government, industry associations, and other partners to facilitate and deliver information and awareness for business audiences on available immigration services and supports.

I worked with a small team to develop a new and improved tour experience & "script" for the daily beer tastings and brewery tours, one with a more modern and humorous twist. Once created, I helped implement those on a daily basis. I also assisted with taking bookings for the hospitality room and managed the logistics of those events (setup/takedown, bartending, supervising).
