My experiences and responsibilities included the following: • Recruitment assistant for CenteringPregnancy’s NIH funded randomized control trial, the CRADLE study (Centering and Racial Disparities; lead investigator Dr. Amy Crockett). This large-scale study was designed to determine the validity of preliminary studies that suggest Centering’s group prenatal care model correlates with a reduction of preterm births and adverse birth outcomes among Caucasian, African American, and Hispanic mothers and babies.
