From the nine years that I worked with Erik, I can conclude that Erik is a business oriented personality with a strong drive to engage with customers and win business. Erik learned to deal with customers in many countries, both in developed and emerging markets. Through active networking and coorperation with business partners, he build the right relations with decision makers. Further on Erik learned to deal with various complex tender procedures during time consuming and complex decision making processes. Over time I saw an increase in Erik's analytical capabilities and also in his motivation to step back, analyse and act. Besides Erik being active in front of customers, Erik could be an addition to market oriented companies by giving him the opportunity to observe, analyze and to allow him to develop and improve business. Erik ads value in securing and developing business particularly with a focus on commercial management. After graduating from his Master in Business Administration, he completed his first stage of his career in Vanderlande and is now ready to apply his experience and skills in another company. An admirable choice.

In the last half year of 2016, our Market Development team of 3, worked very hard on setting up, and defining market segmentation including a growth strategy and how to get this organised within our company. In my opinion I find Erik's work brilliant with regards to analyzing the airport process situation on a global scale and how to abstract the potentially most attractive segmentation. In addition his in depth study showed where our present situation is and how we should organize our strategy to make sure most profitable growth paths could be chosen. All we had to do was fit the organisation into this.
