I was lucky to work with Jan on my latest project at Vopak. Jan was responsible for executing the project to realize the new integration architecture concept (DSL) with the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and MongoDB. Jan attitude was instrumental to get this achieved. He made sure the team was engaged and committed to deliver. Jan is a real team player and get everyone moving. He demonstrated to have excellent organisation, communication and planning skills (which is to be expected of a good project manager), but also to be quite tech savvy. Really enjoyed working with him. Seeing him go was a sad day. Hope you will find new interesting opportunities and that you will be able to contribute to that success just as much as you did in Vopak.

I worked with Jan during his assignment at Vopak for about 4 years. He is one of those rare project managers who has the right blend of IT and project management skills. He is an adapter, quick learner, keen observer, who tries to peel off a problem and address it right at its root. Above all, I admire him for the amount of energy he puts into every thing he does, both personally and professionally. He successfully led the team during the migration from webMethods to MuleSoft platform and has been instrumental in bringing in order and working process within the team. I would highly recommend him for leading large innovation and complex IT projects. I wish him good luck for his new assignment !

He protects the team from unnecessary stress, not pushing the team for the sake of pushing but still doing everything in his reach for the team to meet the deadlines and making sure nobody is blocked from completing their work.
