Rochester, Nova Iorque e Região, Estados Unidos Design and assembly of a prototype system for particle size separation of shredded lithium-ion batteries or shredded circuit boards using vibrating screens in order to obtain a finer fraction rich in Cobalt (for the batteries) or Gold (for the circuit boards). This final fraction was then chemically treated with the purpose of extracting and recycling the cobalt and gold.
