After-school program for children ages 10-18yo. This program is run through the DPT program at UCSF. The mission of TeenFit is to promote healthy lifestyles and development in children and adolescents, as well as providing valuable learning and mentoring experiences for physical therapy students at UCSF/SFSU. We accomplish this by providing fun, challenging workouts; planned and executed by DPT students. Workouts are designed to expose teens and fellow DPT students to a wide variety of exercise modalities that improve strength, endurance, balance, coordination, flexibility, and psycho-social well-being.
