I spent two summers working at a residential summer camp as a counsellor for cabins of girls, first 10-11 year olds and then 12-13 year olds. Over the nine weeks, I developed invaluable time-management, organisational and teamwork skills. I was also recognised as an outstanding counselor, and consequently won an award. Responsibilities included providing pastoral care, planning and running a range of activities, informal education and communicating with parents and other staff members. Waterfront Specialist

In this role, I acted as a lifeguard for two lakes and a pool. I organised and led activities such as inflatable play, water luge, tubing, free swim and waterskiing.
