Kate Johnston is one of the most amazing teachers and individuals I know. I worked with Kate from 2008~2015 at Yongsan International School of Seoul and at Christian Unified School in San Diego from 2015~2018. She is dedicated, reliable, creative, and innovative and brings all these characteristics to her work as well as her personal life. She has dedicated her life to her students and the schools she has taught at. She goes beyond teaching only in the classroom. She makes sure she gives her students every opportunity to succeed. She has led numerous service trips with students, teaching life skills far beyond what a classroom could ever teach. Two of the years I was at Christian Unified School, she came in on her free period to teach my students scientific experiments.
