My first job. My first interview experience. Working with my first manager. Matthew Tej couldn't have made all three a much more fantastic experience for me. From the moment I met Matthew. I had nothing but respect for him. He was able to conduct an interview that made me comfortable, yet his professional demeanor meant business. This isn't to say that it wasn't all work and no play. There were many moments where I got to see a much more lighter side to Matt. The side that encouraged learning. The side that enjoyed connecting with our fellow partners and customers. He was also the first person to demonstrate to me the value of great customer service. Building connections with customers even during peak hours! It wasn't abnormal to see Matt getting greeted by 20+ customers throughout the day. He would very often step out of the back room, grab the iconic green apron, and lend a helping hand. During and off-peak hours! It was truly an honor to have worked with Matt.

I've had the experience and pleasure of working with Matthew for over a year. No question he could be a bit tenacious at times, however, he's also an extremely smart hard worker, a team player, and a bold forward thinker. Matt has extensive knowledge of the social media world, he's excellent with various technology, has refined rhetorical skills, a sense of responsibility, and most importantly a good heart. Matthew is definitely a workhorse you'd like to have on your team.
