Responsible for the day to day operation and development of Lincolnshire Police's public website (http://www.lincs.police.uk) and intranet. • Improving the design and overall feel of the website in line with current trends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Classic ASP. • Creating engaging and accurate website content. • Handling enquiries received through the website. • Liaising with police officers and staff to refine and improve website content. • Initiated Lincolnshire Police's first social media presence on Facebook and Twitter and helped to write their social media policy • Created the first Force's first RSS feed for news and police incidents. • Successfully upgraded the Lincolnshire Police Intranet from flat HTML to the pTools content management system. • Trained over 200 police officers and civilian staff how to use their new intranet and wrote and maintained user documentation. • In 2010 I created 'PolTube', a YouTube inspired repository of police training, operational and policy related videos. At the time this was seen as innovative and gained very positive publicity throughout the policing sector. Show less
